Greetings All, the day has finally arrived, really dont know if this will work, but hey it should be fun trying to launch it and see how far it travels……. I’ll probably start a page here to link where the story goes and see if it lasts more than 2 blogs (I’m really hoping it does). As it happens I didn’t recieve a volunteer to pass the torch onto – so I’m going to take a flier and hope the person nominated will continue the story for us. So without further ado I pronounce this project OPEN.

<tick><tick><tick> The seconds clicked away, everything was silent but the ticking sounded like the rain on a tin roof, silently he clipped closed the silver pocket watch and slipped it into his leather waistcoat taking one last drag on his Marlboro he stepped into the night.

The alleyway was supposed to be lit but the inadequate street lighting was already switched off for the night, another cut back by the bloody government bad for any tourists but perfect for me he thought, rats scuttered around the darkened passageway ripping into mouldy stale food like it was a banquet.  Jed checked his contact sheet and stared at the building in front of him – corner of smith and wesson the large match factory, shifting slightly back he was engulfed by the shadows using the darkness he slipped his hand inside his jacket he felt for the comforting warmth of his silenced Browning.

The brief was to enter the building and “deal” with the problem at hand, Great he thought why cant the brief be more bloody specific increasingly these days the briefs were lacking in specifics but they always bore the symbol of the dove, the symbol of justice. Lighting up another Marlboro he strode towards the door drawing his Browning as he walked.

…….

And thats where I leave the story folks, I am going to ask (very nicely) if my friend over at Diary of an (Ex?) Wow Addict will take the next part (fingers crossed)
