As most of you will know – I’m a bit of a wow-aholic……..   Hello my name is Buel and I”m a Wow-aholic…… this has often meant many loooong sessions sat in front of the computer bashing away (no not like that!!!! – behave yourselves) – I’d like to now highlight a trio who have taken Wow-aholicism to a great place, and have decided to play for charity (outstanding idea!). They are the guys ‘n’ gal at WoWathon

They’ve put alot of effort into setting up a website, facebook, twitter, Ustream live feed – and other features,  so I reckon it’s the least we can do to click the link and head over there and show a little support, and if you can afford it chipin for a very worthy cause -  Childs Play who do amazing work for children in hospitals.

I’m certainly gunna be following this and see how far they get and how much they can raise.

Ok this site is quite heavy loading on the old browser – but definately worth the wait (in my opinion).  A very nice site with heavy images – It’s find it strangely compulsive reading and viewing. So without further ado:

It’s that time once again, the Buel’s World most prestigeous mention – yes yes, the Featured Site of the Week.

Now this weeks most excellent site, is partially on topic (that is she is a Wow-Aholic too) but also posts about other things, I stumbled accross this site when I joined “entrecard” blog “ring” and in a nutshell I found her musings, blog entries and articles “addictive” it’s on my list of sites I frequent often.

Well that rounds up another interesting week, my rogue is still 72, but to be honest with all the cooking and fishing – the levelling has kinda fallen by the side, but I’m enjoying it all the same.

Morning all, yes it’s that time of the week, its the FSotW feeling

So before we rattle onto this weeks FSotW I’ll mention that it’s orphans week, so go grab yourself an orphan and show them what a great guy or gal you are (and please keep them away from the Taurens Udders – hehe) you know it’s worth it.

Right, now as you may (or probably may not) be aware I compile my list of FSotW (s) a long way in advance, I do visit them regularly to ensure that I still want to recommend them to the discerning (sp please)  reader, and a couple of weeks back I was shocked to recieve a mention on another site, now at this time I did say that I wanted to revisit that site as a FSotW rather than a token return mention. So you’ve probably guessed which site is my FSotW, if not read on…….

What can I say about this site, that I didn’t mention in my previous comments…. I’ve been a frequent visitor for some time now, It’s a great, easy to read blog with a really nice layout – not one of those sites that has endless stats and theorycrafting, but similar to mine which is a light hearted look around Azeroth (and surrounding areas) with their take on all things Wow and occasionally off topics which all builds up to good reading. So point yer favourite browsers <cough>Firefox</cough> to………

I selected this weeks site a while back – it’s  a site I have frequented for a short time in relation to the other sites I visit, however it has got me really hooked, this site is penned by a self titled  “girl gamer” and I really appreciate a well written blog that has been written by our fairer sex especially when it’s about something I can relate to (warcraft in this case). This site has regular interesting and well written updates with something for everyone.

So here’s this weeks FSotW – go on give it a click I know you want to.

Thats right, I’d had a Recomendation myself – Buels World was there listed as a site to visit. Now I know what you’re gunna say, why the “Gah!” surely it’s great to get a mention…… yes it is, in fact it’s bloody fantastic – the point of the Gah! is that “Diary of an (Ex?) Wow Addict” is one of the sites I frequent – check my Blogroll – I think you’ll see it listed …..

Still not with me? may be I need to spell it out a little – It’s one on my list for featured sites of the week (yip I am organised at some things), now I have had a good think about how to play this, I could be reciprocal and announce Doa(E)WA as this weeks featured site which seems a little bit like hey they awarded me so I’m gunna mention them and I really dont wanna that to be thought – So I’m gunna do it this way and hope you’ll all understand.

Doa(E)WA will get it’s FSotW (but not today) it’s a great site and I want you good people to visit it and appreciate it when it doesn’t feel like it’s only cos I got a mention on his site type thing – and hey it’s ultra sneaky cos then I’ll keep the attention nicely whilst they visit here to see if it’s the FSotW in the weeks to come (hehehehe)
