Yes yes I know, it’s been a bloody long time.

Well I’m guessing you’ll wanna know why, what, where and how?

Ok, ok not gunna disappoint the two or three readers that look me up. I’ve been real busy playing Warcraft rather than writing about it, I know that makes me lazy, but honestly thats the truth.

So what I’ve been up to:    starting at the beginning, last was my shammy, well Lizma is level 80 and has been a very long time to be honest, it’s a bloody great class to play, but there has been a real shortage on our server and in the guild of healers so I’ve been drafted back into the healer slot, and to be brutally honest I’m mad for it, absolutely lovin’ the tree again. Been running Toc heroics like crazy, Toc normals and daily heroics, trips to Naxx, Ulduar 10 man, Onyxia 10 man and I’m finally getting my kit together, yes sure it still needs work but it’s making me a better healer learning all these places and how best to cope with some of the bigger demands put on healing. In addition I’ve kitted the bear out too so I’m beginning to learn tanking again, I used to tank Karazhan with a warrior, this is a totally different style, and again loving that too.

I’ve become an achievement whore to, and have started the long haul towards explorer, and as I’ve got my bear up and kitted I’ve started running the dungeons to get my mounts (the rare drops) ZG, Karazhan, Raven lord etc etc so I’ll be fraps’ing my efforts and will probably post a video or two of me getting my large butt whipped I managed the raptor boss solo last night, but tiger boss was a big challenge, think I need to work on my methods as I know it’s possible.

I’ve had a change around too, a new theme installed. so I can quite honestly declare.

I’m back, and it’s bloody good to be back.

Well by my reckoning that will make it just two more levels till I respecc to Tree, so this would seem like a great time to start discussing build options and kit options.

Let start with Build.

My understanding of druidic healing isn’t from playing the class for a long time – but I’ve read alot in the forums and on alot of respected blogs , and I’m going to approach this with what I have gleamed, so my opening build is 10/0/61 on this one I’ve only put one point into naturalist and one of my thoughts that keeps niggling the back of my mind is, do I need to put the full 5 points in here or do I actually need any points in here? The one point is basically as I had one point left over!

So my second build is a simple movement of point accross to Natures Splendor in an 11/0/60 build this strikes me as a strong hot based healer which brings me back to Naturalist is it worth moving points around to get healing touch half a second faster – ultimately for me the answer is no I dont think theres anything I’d be happy to do without to get this, however if you play a tree and know differently please let me know.

Number two in my humble opinion wins and if I find that I’m using healing touch alot, then I’ll revisit this build and see if I can shake some points loose to get it.

Equipment / Gear

I found this rather excellent link at Elitist Jerks, which seems to cover most of the pre-Naxx kit and another list from Elitist Jerks which shows the best in slots so it would appear that alot of my research has been done for me. it seems that pre-naxx can be achieved running heroics and some crafting so alot of good experiences upcoming which I will naturally report on.
